Navalized versions of the T-7 Red Hawk, KAI T-50 Golden Eagle, and Leonardo M-346 trainer have been offered for the Undergraduate Jet Training System (UJTS) program, and if the T-50 Golden Eagle is selected as the Navy's successor to the Goshawk, then it will be designated T-50A by the DoD because T-50A was reserved back in 2005 for the Golden Eagle in the event that this aircraft would be procured by the US armed forces.
