LONDON [MENL] -- Saudi Arabia has proceeded with its project to improve the skills of its navy.
The Saudi Defense Ministry has awarded a Canadian firm a contract to help train Saudi naval forces. Atlantis-Amel Technologies Corporation will supply the Naval Tactical Team Trainer for the Royal Saudi Naval Forces.
The trainer will provide battle group, tactical team and individual operator training. The Royal Saudi Naval Forces have given official site acceptance to the Naval Tactical Team Trainer.
The contract was awarded after testing of the trainer at the Fleet Training Center of the King Abdul Aziz Naval Base in Al Jubail. Senior representatives of both the Saudi Navy and the U.S. Navy monitored the demonstration.
