Pak-Jordanian military exercise begins

ISLAMABAD: A two-week long platoon-level special services exercise involving Pakistani and Jordanian troops started simultaneously in Pakistan and Jordan on Tuesday.
A batch of about 40 personnel, including 15 officers of the Pakistan Special Services Group, will participate in the exercise in Jordan, which is primarily aimed at planning and conducting special operations including anti-terrorist and mountain training, an Inter-Services Public Relations press release said on Tuesday.
Forty personnel of the Jordan Special Services group will also participate in the exercise with their counterparts in Pakistan.
