How about common sense. Perhaps you want to martyr yourself for the moronic ayatollahs, I seriously doubt most Iranians want to!
Just out of curiosity...

By "moronic" you mean all those who died for King & Country? These: "If any question why we died, / Tell them, because our fathers lied. Rudyard Kipling" or those: "Go tell our Political Economy teachers, stranger passing by, that here, obedient to their laws, we lie. Artur Kutscher, 1914"?
By "ayatollahs" you mean P. Hegseth, and his continuous references to "God" or Hegseth and Trump?
Trump had “become as fanatical as the regime leaders in Tehran.” Sen. Jack Reed, the top Democrat on the Senate Armed Services Committee. Reported by CNN.
By "common sense" you mean Trump's common sense in the whole business or just: “Only the President knows where things stand and what he will do,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said. Reported by CNN.
The "people" doing what they are told (lied) by their leaders? Moronic indeed... Or it was common sense?

You read that of: "Common sense is the less common of all senses"? But maybe Trump is "smart" (even if lacking some of that "common sense") and didn't started the war for/because of Israel, but: 'In an interview with AFP news agency Tuesday, Trump described the deal as “total and complete victory.” “Big money will be made.” Reported by CNN.' simply, to make big money.

Anyway, we have two weeks to see if POTUS makes himself a great war criminal (as stated by himself), if Lebanon is included (or if Israel still have a free hand) and how great that great victory is... for Iran.
I wonder if every Iranian would be happy to be tortured and executed by the new (Made in US) Shah instead of the old (Made in US) Shah compared to be tortured and executed by the regime they have now, because we are talking only about Iran, right?
What does your common sense tell you?

They are in mid-2022, protecting against a dated threat.

I’d be curious to see this (drone warfare) becoming a new normal and widespread and see how Israeli forces deal with it because that’s where the real ingenuity lies. Cope cages in 2026 are ridiculous.

Edit: I didn’t notice and now that I read the comments, there is a fuel truck parked next to the tank that should have been hit instead.

I should note, it is too early to make any conclusions of how this will turn out, but the comments above are 100% valid.
Trump has never been competent at anything that he has ever done in his entire life. Why should this time be any different. His voters are similar losers who are seeking participation trophies for what people with similar melanin levels did in the past. Absolute mess. I hope these clowns get kicked out of the entire world back to the island that is north america.

You have to be very optimistic, about the Panama canal, to call North America an "island".

And the unhinged spiraling continues. I wonder how long it will take for the nations of the world to grow a pair and fight back against asinine demands.

This is what I don‘t understand. There should be an united front against this moronic administration. When would enough be enough? Why should we suffer economically because to 1/3 of US population who are utterly moronic. If the US population is dumb enough to elect this clown, then the US should be kicked out of everywhere in Eurasia at least.

On top of that you still have a lot of Germans who think electing populist retards is a good idea.

Negotiations were never expected to produce immediate results over a weekend. There are a myriad of issues on the table, from nuclear to missiles to the straits to demands for compensations. JCPOA took years to conclude and that just on the nuclear issue.

If the Administration truly expected the Iranians to sign any piece of paper infront of them because "we won", they are thinking in terms of news cycles, not reality.

And one of the key points of the negotiations was to get the Iranians to open the Straits. Trump deciding that the US should get into the act of blockading the Straits, he is doing it at the expense of the rest of the world.

Which in his mind deserved this outcome since they/we chicken out and did not answer his call for support.

It's all lunacy. I'm just wondering when other countries will grow a spine and rebel against the US. I wouldn't be surprised if they do indeed block the straits merely due to a temper tantrum by not getting their way. This doesn't bode well for anyone and could have many, many, many unintended consequences as a result.

Just like Russia Grey Fleet manage to keep Russia oil to the customers (mostly in Asia), Iran Dark Fleet also doing it. Both being known by US and Western allies, but with only occasional disruption, both Iran and Russia fleet still mostly get the job done. Delivering oil to the market.

This why blokade or sanctions on oil and energy will not going to take long time, before market adjust themselves. Hydrocarbon is finite supply in the global energy market that still depend much with them.

I'm wondering how this will work in practice. Some sources are reporting a complete blockade, and some are quoting Trump stating that only ships that paid Iran's toll will be stopped. So what if Iran decides to let Pakistani, or Chinese ships through without a toll? How do you verify if the ship paid a toll? And of course this can't be a long term or even medium term solution. It's clearly an attempt to force the rest of the world to pick sides.

When Trump said he would collect tolls together with Iran, that was his business plan. Laughing.

What does Trump’s blockade do when Chinese ships sail, with or without tolls?

Trying to any thoughts behind his actions is a waste of time IMO. As evil as these morons are, they are extremely incompetent and downright dumb. They are just trying out random actions that their intellect can support

CENTCOM: “The blockade will be enforced impartially against vessels of all nations entering or departing Iranian ports and coastal areas, including all Iranian ports on the Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman. CENTCOM forces will not impede freedom of navigation for vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz to and from non-Iranian ports.”

So my question above remains.

Also, the US is to block traffic that Iran wouldn't, effectively reducing the number to zero.

Edit: going to fill up the tank on the way to the store in a bit here, lol.

we are about to be hit with an economic crisis, famine all because of a bunch of incompetent, lazy , entitled losers who think that they deserve the world because of the content of melanin of their skin. The whole thing is that retarded.

Oh they are neither incompetent nor naive.

Inflation is exactly what they need.
High energy prices is exactly what they need.
Global recession is exactly the objective.

Nothing is better if your debt is uncontrollable. The covid pandemic didn't teach you anything?

Those people are not stupid, they are evil.
That's very different.
The crisis is not a consequence, it is the goal.
