After the US blocked China's participation on ISS in 2011, China decided to build its own space station. Launch date is set for 5 days from today. It will be able to accomodate a crew of up to 3, and complete construction by next year. As well, China's first space telescope, the Xuntian optical module, will be co orbiting with the space station. The purpose of this thread is to update the progress of both projects.

Thats`s pretty staggering how fast China is developing its space technology and developing itself in space exploration area. I know that this country is going to make its own Mars mission with crew in some time. I don`t think that they will be able to outrace Space X however the result of their work can stagger whole world.
