I have been a longtime lurker on this and other defence sites. Having been the son of a Lt. Col. I grew up surrounded by the military with dad and his friends always talking shop. Growing up in Halifax the military is very front and centre with the navy in the harbour and the helicopter air group in Dartmouth. I hope to add to the discussions.
