F-14 Tomcat Fighter's Final Deployment - US Navy

An F-14D Tomcat assigned to the "Black Lions" of Fighter Squadron Two One Three (VF-213) safely lands on the flight deck aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71). The Black Lions and the "Tomcatters" of Fighter Squadron Three One (VF-31) are the last active squadrons flying F-14s. Roosevelt and embarked Carrier Air Wing Eight (CVW-8) are currently underway on a regularly scheduled deployment supporting maritime security operations.
