Yak-130 Crash

In Lipetsk a Yak-130 crashed during a training flight. This is particularly interesting, given that recently we had the announcement that Sokol (RSK MiG) had completed delivery of the initial order for 12 Yak-130 to the VVS. These are new combat trainers, that have yet to see mass production (a line is being set up at IAPO, with Sokol providing some of the parts). But the reason so far cited is a technical malfunction. Given that the initial aircraft are built at Sokol, but future production is being moved to IAPO, this makes me wonder about quality control issues, and if that's the cause of both the accident, and the movement of the production line.

Hmm, wonder how this might effect the export deal with Algeria? They have ordered the Yak 130 in some number(8 iirc) and first deliveries are due late this year.

Yak-130 flights have been halted, as Irkut, Yakovlev, and unnamed engine manufacturers representatives try to figure out the reason for the crash.

What I find intriguing is that Sokol and RSK MiG aren't mentioned in relation to the incident. They're the ones to have actually manufactured this particular batch of planes, and deliveries were completed earlier this year. http://arms-tass.su/?page=article&aid=84754&cid=25

EDIT: So far the reason for the crash given sounds like unspecified technological issues.

EDIT2: It seems that the planes control system stopped working, forcing the two pilots to catapult out. Details are still pending, but what's shocking is that this is one of the aircraft that participated in the victory parade above Moscow last month.

Could be greater inormación of this incident?

Here in Uruguay the plane Yak-130 is one of the strongest candidates to join our Air Force as a trainer and light fighter.

In your opinion it´s a good aircraft?

In Uruguay liked it very economical, its speed, the ability to own radar and the load capacity of 3000 kg.

Thanks
