In this video two F-35s are departing from Volkel Air Base for a local sortie. At this moment the F-35s from Leeuwarden are also temporarily based at Volkel due to runway reconstruction on the northern airbase. The F-35s, which are also known by their pilots as Panthers, left the airbase in the late afternoon for an evening sortie. This resulted in a very nice light condition during the shoot. The aircraft both left from Runway 06 Left as the wind came from the East.
