Excuse me? It seems that several of us were actually having a very meaningful discussion/question/answer session. Also dispite our differences, we are managing to discuss these matters in a very friendly manner and actually agree on more than we disagree with. I would find it extremely bias and offensive to shut it down when there is a clear interest in this topic by forum members.

fortunately, thread management is a Mod decision - not a quorum or feel good decision. I can point to any number of threads where a cohort of posters think that its relevant - whereas on the issue of quality debate and refreshing insight they might fail miserably.
