Dear All
I am writing you because I would like to ask some help regarding one ECM Pod used by the USMC and Italian Navy on AV-8 Plus Harriers, the AN/ALQ-164.
Does somebody have some info regarding this pod like the dimensions i.e. and/or any other useful information?
The reason I am asking to be honest is that I have to create this POD for a Simulator Game, and the modding community asked me to provide more information like the generic working principles (frequencies, radar bands, type of jamming) and above all to provide the measurements, best if by using a 3 plan view in order for them to create the 3D Model to stick the textures on.
Now I've been able to find in Internet the "electronic part" of above required information but as for the measures, I managed only to find out that the pod is 85" long by 16" diameter and 350 lb weight.
I would like to ask if somebody can provide me more material showing the actual sizes of this pod and all outside shell components.
