Is there a caption for the original photo? That looks like a "type" flypast.

Theres a B2, F117, C-130, C17, B1 in there, the others are too small to give any certainty to.

I see B2, C130, B1BLancer, KC135 Stratotanker, F117A Nighthawk, then around 3 F16s accompanied by 2 F-14 Tomcats and a C17 GlobemasterIII.

So where is the pic from watcher?

The C-130 is a J model, you can tell by the propellers. There is a jet that is almost unidentifiable at the bottom of the group of aircraft. I can't tell for sure what it is, but it appears to be a fighter jet with up-swept wings at the tips. About the only jet that I can think of that has this feature is the F-4 Phantom. Perhaps it's a Luftwafte F-4F or an old USAF F-4?

My list(assuming all birds are those used by the USAF)
1)B-2
2)B-1B Lancer
3)Either KC-135 or RC-135
4)C-130 Herculese
5)F-117 NightHawk
6)About 3 F-16 Falcons
7)2 F-15s( sure about the one closest to the Globemaster, the second could be an Ardvark(note my assumption)
8)An F-4 (probably the G model "Wild Weasel")
9)The C-17 Globemaster

Dudes thosre are Tomcats not Eagles. :)
Eagles for me...Short 'n stubbier wings, a USAF event...Compare photographs.

Besides, I dabbled in a bit of research.

Hmmmm....Looks like the F-14 to me.
To me it looks as if the wings are in the forward position (since F14 has variable sweep wings construction).

While the F-15 has shorter fixed wings.

Although I must admit...both those buggers look awfully similar from the front.

Shamayel, I'd probably have to back Winter up, ever since he nailed me on those Landrover pics I've given up on contesting him. ;)

Ho hum. umair you canot even see the intakes in the picture man. Only thing to go on are the wings and they are too long to be of the short winged F-15.
However the strictly USAF affair would definitely point towards the F-15.

So this is seriously gonna go nowhere. Your word against mine. And since three of you are saying F-15...well then I concede. :roll

Actually buddy I am known among my pals as a walking talking fighter plane encyclopedia. Oh I can see the intakes(vaguely) it pays to be a fighter junkie since age 7 ;)
