Well this whole electrical armour thing can be defeated by using a shell made up of a non-conducting material. But of course easier said than done perhaps.

how about ceramic? or silicon. maybe we can use molten silicon instead of copper.

ceramic would be too brittle, maybe a kevlar/polymer compound (which can be tougher than steel)? Some of the warheads for the rail gun projects used nylon heads, but they would be useless against an armoured FV.

Maybe diamond tipped?

Nice idea but a little too expensive for poor countries:)
