Photos of Borei and Gorshkov

Our Comrade @ Pilot. Strizhi. info posted a nice photo gallery for the 70th anniversary of Sevmash. Good Photos, especially those showing the modernization of the Gorshkov Carrier for India and the Sea Trails of the SSBN / РПКСН проекта 955.

Borei is here: 955 Gallery.
and the Gorshkov is here: Gorshkov.

open the pages one at a time or it wont load all the thumbnails, for me the highlights are of old glory, the 941 behind the Borei, makes the Borei look not that big.

Also the work on the Gorshkov is progressing nicely, and it looks like its going to be a very nice carrier once its done.
Slick comments, Good Job Sevmash who pretty much rebuilt the carrier, those who were there at the begining of the repair will know what we mean. and Nice carrier, we should keep it for ourselves since the Indians are not wanting to pay.

Sure the Akula has more mass but I was talking about the lengh. And the Borei is 170 meters not 160. The delta IV is 167meters.
