PACIFIC OCEAN (July 06, 2006) -- Fire Controlman 3rd Class Jacob Whitney, a Visit Board Search & Seizure (VBSS) team member for the Arleigh Burke-class destroyer USS O'Kane (DDG-77) holds rear security for the security sweep team as they clear a space nearby onboard the Arleigh Burke-class destroyer USS Chafee (DDG-90) during RIMPAC 2006. The rear security position is crucial for the team when entering and exiting spaces as it provides added protection from any attacks that might occur.
