At sea aboard USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) Dec. 20, 2001 -- USS O'Kane (DDG 77) acquires fuel from USS Carl Vinson while underway. During this evolution, the Vinson resupplied the O'Kane with 135,000 gallons of fuel. The Vinson Battle Group is wrapping up a six-month deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
