US Navy Hospitalman Michael Morales

SAN IGNACIO, Belize (March 1, 2011) Hospitalman Michael Morales, assigned to Security Cooperation Task Force (SCTF), Ground Combat Element, simulates treatment of a sucking chest wound during a jungle warfare and survival exercise at Pine Ridge Forest Reserve alongside members of the Belize Defense Force. SCTF is deployed to the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility supporting Amphibious Southern Partnership Station 2011 (A-SPS 11), focusing on strengthening and establishing new relationships through the exchange of maritime mission-focused knowledge and exercising vital lines of communication between regional security services.
