Mubarek Military City, Egypt (Sept. 13, 2005) - Equipment from the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit is unloaded from a Landing Craft Utility (LCU) from the amphibious assault ship USS Tarawa (LHA 1) in preparation for an upcoming amphibious assault landing demonstration as part of Bright Star Exercise 2005. Bright Star is a multinational exercise held every two years in Egypt. Bright Star is the largest and most significant coalition military exercise conducted by U.S. Central Command.
