On December 22th for the very last time the CH-47D of the Royal Netherlands Air Force took of during an operational mission before the type is withdrawn from operational duty within the RNLAF. The Delta's are replaced by brandnew CH-47F (Foxtrot) models already flying for the RNLAF.
