The future of the Russian military

I was wondering, what do people think of the future of Russias military as a superpower. Des anyone think they could ever be on par with NATO?

Russia is a single country with an economy of ~1.3 trillion. Nato is over two dozen countries with a combined GDP over 20 trillion. So no. Never.
