Agreed, reliable yes accurate beyond much more than 100M, not really. Especially when compared to Western Infamry rifles. Western platforms are accurate putmo 300M with iron sites, more with optics like a Trijicon

The accuracy of the weapon itself has nothing to do with the optics (though the shooter may be more or less effective with the weapon at that range with better optics). You can reliably hit targets with an AK-47, provided it's a quality made AK-47, like IzhMash, out to 500m. Comparatively, for an M-16A4 it's 650m area targets, 550m point targets.

I think only AK-47 of Soviet Union is reliable, high quality. AK-47 replica, example Type-56 of China very bad. Example: stock wood AK-47 of Soviet Union painted formula special secret, after a long time, when affect by sweat - sand - water - weather - high temperature...., wood stock of AK-47 Soviet always new, not fracture, not smear...
