Egyptian authorities have managed to uncover a spy network that has been working with Israel. The incident is the first of its kind since former president Hosni Mubarak stepped down on 11 February

Official reports said prosecutors interrogated one of the suspects involved in the network, later remanding him into custody pending investigation. The suspects include an Egyptian and two Israelis who are at large.

Egypt's Security sources said that the primary suspect was assisted by three others who have not yet been arrested.

Privately-owned satellite channel Dream had revealed that the spies include a foreigner who has been gathering information about army activities during the mass protests in January and February.

Last year another cell was uncovered, in which an Egyptian, Tarez Abdel Aziz, and a number of Israelis sought to recruit agents to infiltrate the country’s communications sector, or work for Israeli intelligence in Syria and Lebanon.

This come as a surprise who release the information to the public? It's rarely Israelis get caught in there spy operation. I wonder if the Egyptian informant that was caught helping the Israelis made a mistake. Israelis Mossad is highly trained and knows Arab culture so there are more agents in Egypt. We will see what the outcome of this news as more information from the one who got caught is release this is probably all we will hear about this. The one thing about spy operation the helpers can turn on you look what happen in Afghanistan. My hat goes off for all the intellience agent around the world it a hard job.
