    Hi, I'd like to know if this could be a Geo-location coordinate, and if so, from what coordinate system? B8 D5 H4

    Looks like a coordinate system for chess.

    not enough characters and geolocs are normally flatplane - 3 sets of characters would infer 3 dimensional co-ord - and again, not enough characters for any degree of finessing

    it barely does the job for a street map :)
