MBDA puts a lot of enfasis on the antimissile capability of this system, but I am in doubt if it really performs well in this role.

How it compares to another short-range system like Sea-Wolf GWS25?

Looking at videos on youtube like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADjBbmv4Kmo , i have the feeling that only the launcher is new, the missile is still the same. I actually never heard about cheap MANPADS missiles really capable to shoot down sea skimming anit-ship missiles or PGMs.
