Brazil buys Penguin anti-ship missiles

Not a very long article but it appears Brazil's buying some Penguin anti-ship missiles. Gives a nice little punch to their helicopters and added options for Brazil's Navy.

MNOK 140 Penguin contract with Brazil
Today Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace signed a contract with the Brazilian navy for the delivery of Penguin anti-ship missiles and associated equipment valued at appr. MNOK 140. The missiles will be deployed on the Brazilian Navy's new maritime helicopters.

Brazil should also developed it's own defence research program after all it is a democratic country.

It could contribute to global security.
