Bomb / Container Identification Request

Hi guys,

Was wondering if anybody could identify the following container / bomb / weapon for me? The markings are relatively clear in parts but I have googled what I can and can't find anything.

I took this in a military airfield outside of Misrata in Libya last year that had been hit by NATO perhaps one month before. I'm sure it is nothing interesting but just wanted to find out and finally got around to doing this.

Any information would be much appreciated and I hope I've not broken any rules posting this and have attached correctly etc. etc.

Taking a guess as a lot of the needed info is scrapped off the case.

But It looks like the container for a Société des Ateliers Mécanique de Port-sur-Sambre (SAMP) 250KG EU2 General Purpose bomb with drogue Chute.
