What exactly could Trump do regarding Treat Committments

Trump made a lot of claims while running. However the USA is bound by treaty to provide a defense to a lot of countries. The issue is: could he unilaterally change the terms of those treaties? I suspect not. They are ratified by two thirds of the senate, and are effectively law in the USA. getting out of NATO agreements are such examples. Your thoughts?

What candidates say in the run up to the election and what they actually do once elected can be two very profoundly different things. Drastically changing treaties the U.S. has with NATO/non NATO allies/partners/friends will seriously affect the U.S.'s credibility and would be welcomed by Russia and China; Trump and his advisors are more than aware of this.

Trump's appointments do not bode well for the Iranian Nuke deal. If we withdraw from it, I suspect there will be consequences. Time will tell.

One thing's for sure. Israel and the Gulf states [for different reasons] will be extremely happy to see the end of the deal. The fact remains that it's in the interests of the U.S. to not terminate the deal. A cancellation of the deal would be just what the Iranian hardliners want; it will prove what they've been saying, that the U.S. can't be trusted and what it really wants to do is to further weaken and isolate Iran.
