Hi
Any of you have figures for number of casualties military and civilian, of wars for, say, past 300 years?
Or can you point me to a source?
Thank you.

American figures

Virtually every "World Almanac & Book of Facts" published annually in the United States has figures on American casualties in every war in which we have been involved. I know this is probably not as complete as you might like, but it gets you at least part of the data going back about 230 years.

Good luck!:D

I have always found Wikipedia good for finding facts and figures. It may be able to provide you with the information, if not just try good old Google :)

I had the Data of Military & Civilian deaths in a war dating from 1816 to 1945 & another on dating from 1945 to 2002. I'll see if I still have them, otherwise I'll try & get the origional data back from my Prof at uni.
