No mention of the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC)?

w w w .opcw.org/chemical-weapons-convention/]Chemical Weapons Convention

The CWC has been credited with the significant reduction of existing US and Russian chemical weapons stock-pile over the years. It has also put some restrains on other countries that may have tried to develop chemical weapons.

There is also the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC):

w w w.armscontrol.org/factsheets/bwc]The Biological Weapons Convention (BWC) At A Glance | Arms Control Association

While the BWC bans biological weapons, it does not ban research and biodefense programs. However, to carry out biodefense programs, biological toxins/agents are required, just not in the quantities needed for war. Nonetheless, this means that the capability to produce the biological toxins/agents are available in some countries that are party to BWC.

Check 'em out man, as you're new (especially rule 2). One liners are generally frowned upon as 9/10 times they do nothing.

It'd be much appreciated if you could initiate some sort of discussion yourself - as this is an interest of yours - rather than trying to encourage others to do so by posting a link or article or whatever and muse over the contents
.
