Hi,
Does anyone own a copy of the book (above)?
I wanted to get hold of a copy of the relevant page or at least the type numbers of a prototype US Army Howitzer that incorporated the unique recoil-reduction feature of a forward-moving barrel at the point of firing. Can anyone help?

While I don't have the relevant Janes Pocket Book I'm pretty sure you have the soft recoil XM204 in mind.
