I was wondering if you could help me
Can anyone tell me what kinds of badges, patches and insignia a typical USAAF pilot in the Second World War would have worn when they were flying (ie in their jackets and not formal uniforms)? So for instance-did they wear a squadron patch? Did they wear their rank? Also, what part of their jacket did they wear them on?
