Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (Jun. 24, 2002) -- A group of Korean Americans welcome the Republic of Korea destroyer Yang Man Choon (DDH 973) to Pearl Harbor. The destroyer and the patrol corvette Won Ju (PCC 769) are scheduled to participate in the upcoming RIMPAC 2002 exercise. Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) is conducted off the coast of Hawaii to enhance the tactical proficiency between nations throughout the Pacific region.
