SANGIN, Afghanistan (Jan. 13, 2011) Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Jeffery R. Bowman, assigned to Police Advisor Team 1, Headquarters and Service Company, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 2, directs traffic during a security and presence patrol in the bazaar. The Marines conduct daily security patrols to decrease enemy presence in the surrounding area.
