The SALADIN mounted a 3“ (76mm) main gun, suitable for use with HE rounds, HESH rounds against medium tanks or scatter rounds for use against infantry. Muzzle velocity gives an effective strike at normal firing ranges. All SALADINs were able to fire anti tank rounds. Every vehicle mounted two 0,30“ Browning machine guns; one in the fighting compartment coaxial to the main gun, the other is fitted on a traversing mount on the turret in front of the commander. Stowage within the hull was provided for 42 rounds 3“ and 3000 rounds 0,30“. The turret has a full 360° degree traverse.
