EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Members of Strike Fighter Squadron Eight Seven (VFA-87) perform maintenance on a Navy F/A-18 during Red Flag-Alaska 07-1. VFA-87 is home based at Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia. Red Flag-Alaska is a Pacific Air Forces-directed field training exercise for U.S. forces flown under simulated air combat conditions.
