This tank was a part of an armoured convoy to enter Baghdad. The Iraqi Republican guard ambushed the convoy with Anti Tank Guided Missiles (ATGMs) (probably Russian Kornet Es) and managed to inflict losses on the Americans. I think this tank was later bombed by American planes in order to completely destroy it..hence the huge crater next to it.
