The armed Australian Customs Southern Patrol and Fisheries Protection Vessel Oceanic Viking in Hobart, March 2006. Late in 2005 this 105m ship which is armed with 12.7mm HMGs, boarded and captured the Cambodian flagged Taruman South of Tasmania. The 2145 tonne vessel was suspected of fishing illegally inside Australia's Exclusive Economic Zone and escorted by the Oceanic Viking back to Hobart where it is still (Feb 2007) awaiting disposal.
