MBDA, MBDA has joined the multi-national Alliance Shield team which has brought together the leading companies in the field of design, development, integration and deployment of missile defence systems to compete for the upcoming NATO Theatre Missile Defence Systems Engineering and Integration Contract. The team is headed by Boeing Missile Defense Systems of the USA.
NATO is looking for a command, control and communication (C3) infrastructure that will create a network into which all its member countries can link their respective missile defence systems to form an effective defensive shield against the growing threat presented by the latest generation of ballistic missiles.
