Exactly three years after the mysterious disappearance of Malaysia Airlines MH370 on March 7 2014 (17:19 UTC time), the international whistleblowing site WikiLeaks dropped a bombshell on how the US Central Intelligence Agency could weaponize just about every "smart device" on the planet.

According to WikiLeaks: "Year Zero introduces the scope and direction of the CIA's global covert hacking program, its malware arsenal and dozens of ‘zero day' weaponized exploits against a wide range of US and European company products, include Apple's iPhone, Google's Android and Microsoft's Windows and even Samsung TVs, which are turned into covert microphones."

How about Boeing 777-200s laden with US hardware and software? Was MH370 a "pilot study" — pardon the pun — for Washington's cyberwarfare capabilities?

More from Wikileaks

WikiLeaks threatens to reveal tech companies that haven't responded to help offer against CIA hacks

WikiLeaks said it plans to take action against technology companies that "continue to drag their feet" in communicating over software and products that might be vulnerable to the CIA's hacking program revealed in the "Vault 7" publication on March 7.

"Should such companies choose to not secure their users against CIA or NSA attacks users may prefer organizations such as Mozilla or Europeans companies that prioritize their users over government contracts," Assange said.

So MH370 was bought down by the CIA listening in on some ones conversation? ... Or was it bought down by the CIA taking control of the flight system that can actually be switched over to manual control in the event of a computer failure? Just another BS Russian anti west puff peice with some wikileaks bit's and bobs talking about capabilities that has been speculated for years already... Woopty doo.

Wikileaks Releases "NightSkies 1.2": Proof CIA Bugs "Factory Fresh" iPhones

The latest leaks from WikiLeaks' Vault 7 is titled “Dark Matter” and claims that the CIA has been bugging “factory fresh” iPhones since at least 2008 through suppliers. The full documents are expected to be released after a 10 a.m. EDT “press briefing” that WikiLeaks promoted on its Twitter.

There must be lots of bugged factory-fresh iPhones out there.

Permanently Closed as does not meet quality standards expected within the Forum

wiki has long been considered an unreliable source and Mods have persistently reinforced that

in addition, there is a very low appetite for conspiracy theories or posts that travel along a similar road.

quoting wiki as a reliable source is like trying to use Robert Mugabe as a character reference to work in a bank.....
