I heard that U.S-Korea's Marine corps will have a big joint amphibious training in March this year. It has been over 23 years since last TEAM SPIRIT exercise in 1989.
3rd U.S marine expedition forces on Okinawa and Korea's marine forces are going to participate in this event. (about 10,000 soldiers) this exercise program will include landing and infiltration and shooting. It is also expected to restrain N.Korea from attacking. I think this exercise and its deterrence strategy are very important for both countries against N.Korea and Korea should think it over to defeat and unify N.Korea efficiently without huge damage. I think it would be helpful for Korea to make a diverse of war scenarios and prepare adequate strategies for nuclear deterrence.

PGMs and other high accurate weapons systems must be emphasized in order to reduce collateral civilian damage. US and South Korean forces will rely on SEAD, air superiority and technological superiority to offset any quantitative inferiority.
