US Carrier Flight Deck Hand Signals

Hi All,

After seeing some of the fighter catapult launch videos in youtube, i am really amazed by the smooth co-ordination and effective hand-signal communication between the pilots and flight deck crew.

So is there any materials or website available for me to know more about the meaning behind the hand signals??

( Especially interested in the shooter's hand signal, he marshalls the plane like dancing, any idea what his hand signal means??)

Thanks ~~......:)

Also go check out a PBS series called "Carrier" they have some great bits about the dance that is aircraft handling on a carrier.
