Queen Elizabeth class aircraft carriers vs. Nimitz class.

I've been looking up the Royal Navy's future aircraft carriers (hopefully) and they seem to be quite impressive, but I wanted to know how they stack up against the US Nimitz class. Although the Nimitz class are a lot larger, the first of the Nimitz would be 41 years older than the first of the QE class. This thread is also open to the comparison of Royal Navy Destroyers and Frigates to there trans-Atlantic cousins.
