in your opinionwhat is the best non-nuclear submarine(diesel-electric/AIP)

Personaly I would have to say the scorpene class with he mesma AIP system. Its flexible weapon system, advanced sonar suite, and stealth features give it a well rounded design.

i dont know much detail at all, but the Japanese boats are the largest and fastest non nuke subs that im aware of. The Jap navy also has a long history of good subs and crews...
