Argentinian MEKO Espora have broken 37 days ago , officially Armada Argentina talks that three generators have broken, somebody know about this?? Thanks

Well is a pretty well known issue in Argentina (I'm Argentinean but Im not there right now)
The Meko 140 went to South Africa for a exercise and got the issue with the generator, the official word is that German Engineers are working on it, same old tale about goverment neglecting founds for the ship maintenance.

The ARA Espora suffered a breakdown of one of it's gensets during Excercise Atlasur IX.

Rumour has it that they arrived in South Africa with one of its generators non-functional - the failure of a second one has rendered the ship unseaworthy, thus unable to sail home until at least one is repaired.

From reading the articles & seeing some of the pictures (below), it looks like a main seawater inlet pipe ruptured, flooding the ship, causing it to list, then capsize...
