wondering how japanese manage to conquare south east asia during ww2?weapon?tank?army force? what kind of techonolgy do japanese having during ww2

The Japanese had tanks, artillery, warships, typical things. The most unusual (or i would say defining) technology was the use of bicycles, which was used to preserve the momentum of attack and allowed them to quickly come down the peninsula.
