Not sure what the name of it is called but i found out about it while browsing some popular news sites. I would appriciate any information regarding this picture.

Is this something they are using in Iraq?

I am not entirely sure most of the details were on its mobility and not the mil tech on it all i know is that it mounted rifle is a 30mm.

That looks like a bomb defuser robot, as you can tell by the person next to the "machine" having a face mask (those shielded kinds are used often in anti-terror bomb defusing) and his/her heavy vest..
Or it can just be a gun on a robot.. :drunk

It's called Project SWORDS. It's a mobile remote operated assualt robot.
