Name this plane

Hi, can anyone please tell me what the US Navy plane on the left is ? It's obviously from the Vietnam war period as it's now in the Hanoi war museum.

It appears to be an Douglas A-1 Skyraider ( im not sure on variant)

I had a link to wiki on it but need to up my post count to post links.

A Skyraider (unknown type or serial number) is on display at the War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam as of May 2010.

( I know wiki is not the best for info but its good for pictures I think ).

The one on the right is probably an US Air Force A-1H Skyraider (it could also be a repainted ex-SVNAF A-1) The one of the left is a US Navy A-1, probably A-1E/AD-5). They seem to be in remarkably good condition for shootdowns (no bent props, hardpoints intact), so it wouldn't surprise me they were repainted ex-SVNAF birds.

Right = AD / A-1 Skyraider
Left = AD-5 / A-1E

Same aircraft basically.

South Vietnam used to operate them. They were also operated by communist Vietnam after their unification of Vietnam.

Thanks for the swift replies guys, I'd worked out the 1 on the right was a Skyraider and now I look again it's fairly obvious they're basicly the same plane.

It's probably an RAF Vickers VC-10. The four tail-mounted engines are a pretty distinctive recognition feature.
