Nothing surprising here. Most of these images seem to show concepts or variations of concepts of the later stages of WW2 from Horten/Gotha, Heinkel, Messerschmitt etc.. However all of these aircraft remained on the drawing board. Some of them may have had influence on post war concepts though, since the allies seized all the work while occupying Germany.
Similar research was conducted in the other countries as well, out of desperation however the german concepts experienced quicker deployment and development into usable aircraft.

Right. Didnt think about that. It made preliminary test flights in January 1945. There it showed capacity for a sustained speed of 800 km/h. However the plane crashed later during landing and development was halted. Also, I guess since this was in the very last stages of war, mass production and subsequent combat action would have been unlikely. Great design though.

After WW2, the Swedes were able to get their hands on the British de Havilland Goblin centrifugal-flow turbojet engine, presently arranging to manufacture it under license. SAAB engineers were also able to get their hands on German aerodynamic research data from the war. Combined with the knowledge of the british jet, this resulted in the Saab 29 Tunnan. Look much like one of those German concepts.

The one from "Indiana Jones" was based on a Northrop-Grumman-Prototype with further modifications.
