NOKOR Missile threat

Now that North Korea has demonstrated nuke and missile delivery capabilitie, albeit primitive, how does this change the security dynamic for countries like the US and Australia which will finally be within reach of the NOKOR long-range missiles? Will we see Canberra prioritizing BMD in it's defense planning?
