Hi I'm Fanch from France
I'm a big enthousiast for military bits and pieces
and especially for news that stand out
Since I have found previously on this site some good things I decided to join the
forum.
Yet I'm surprised by the young age of many here, maybe quality doesn't have to wait for the age.
Here is my question:
Has Canada used or is using russian MI 8 or MI 17 for transport or support ?
I was surprised to read that somewhere and I'd like to have it confirmed or not...

Yes, many nations including Canada have used third parties to air transport men and equipment abroad for UN peacekeeping missions with Russian aircraft. Recently the government of Canada has decided to acquire 4 C-17 Globemasters to fulfill this mission.
